Simple Rice Pilaf

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Instant Rice
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 1 ounce Butter
  • 3/4 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 2/3 cup Water
  • 2 teaspoon Chicken Bouillon Granules

Instructions

  • Finely chop the onion
  • Add the butter to a medium pot and heat over medium heat until the butter is melted
  • Add the onion and rice
  • Cook, stirring frequently until the rice and onion are lightly browned
  • Add the vegetables, water, and bouillon granules to the pot
  • Stir the mixture to combine all ingredients
  • Increase the temperature to medium-high
  • Bring the mixture to a boil
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low
  • Cover the pot
  • Cook for 10 minutes
  • Stir
  • Serve
