A long time ago, in a galaxy far away I got several mix recipes that you’re supposed to make up in large quantities and then bag for later usage. Most of the recipes are for things that you would buy in a box (cake mixes, brownie mixes, etc). They were all given to me by a relative or friend of my Mom. I’ve subsequently lost the original copies of the recipe, and have had to rely on really old computer versions (I’m talking 5 1/4 inch disk here) of those recipes. I’m going to call them heirloom recipes and see if it sticks.
I then decided that, as a diabetic, it would be nice to have these recipes in a more diabetic-friendly format. So I’ve worked on reducing the carbohydrates used in the heirloom baking mix recipes. This one was pretty easy, but some of them took a bit of work to get the flavor just right.
