I love the 4th of July, much to the chagrin of my friends in the U.K.
I try really hard not to rub in the fact that a rag-tag bunch of second stringers beat the #1 team in the world back in 1776 to gain our independence. Really, I do.
So rather than harping on the wins during the revolutionary war, I’m simply going to include this post about making an American Flag pizza. If you’re on the other side of the pond, you can make the same pizza in the shape of Great Britain’s flag…it just takes more work. Who knows though, I might even make one of those. And for my friends in Canada Day, I’m working on a Canadian flag version. Sorry I didn’t get it finished in time for Canada. But just like the Chicago Cubs fan that I am…there’s always next year!
